UNSW Gridiron Club

Established in 1979, UNSW Raiders are the oldest Gridiron club in Australia. Featuring womens, mens and junior teams, UNSW Raiders welcome both UNSW students and non-students.

The club hosts a variety of social events, from fundraisers to seasonal events and promotes training and working to the best of your ability.

UNSW Handball Club

The UNSW Handball Club aims to offer opportunities for students, alumni and the general public to become involved in indoor and beach handball in Sydney.

UNSW Hockey Club

With over 350 members making up mens, womens, mixed and junior teams, the UNSW Hockey Club is one of the largest hockey clubs in NSW.

The club caters for players of all ages and levels whether you're a beginner or a national rep.

The women's teams play in the Sydney Women's Hockey League and the Sydney East Hockey Association.

Karate

UNSW Karate Club

The UNSW Karate Club is one of the oldest and most successful university karate clubs in Australia. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Sensei Chris Wong instructs classes practicing the Budokan style of Karate. Training including basics, kata and sparring exercises encourages the development of well-being, confidence, self defense skills, physical fitness and self discipline.

Kendo

UNSW Kendo Club

Kendo, the art of Japanese Fencing, started out from an old martial arts heritage going back now over a 1000 years to the time of the classical samurai. In order to reduce bodily harm, the practice sword was born.

Focusing on disciplining the human character through applying principles of the katana (Japanese sword), UNSW Kendo club prides itself on honour and fairness.

Lacrosse

First it was Regina George in Mean Girls, now lacrosse is our newest sport at UNSW has hit the Village Green! With social and competitive teams to get involved in you can make sure no one la-crosses you in the future!
